Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

If you want to get the best out of a goal poacher like Rhodes, you've got to build your team around him. It's exactly what we did, until Lambert showed up and took that focus away. I don't think Karanka made him the main man when he took him to Middlesbrough, and that's why it didn't work out. And s...

would be nice we go for Rhodes
Rovers would have to free up some wages for that to happen. Also they are never the same when they come back though... Santa Cruz?...Bentley?..

Momentum have online ballot for their members to indicate their preference of next Labour leader.... and include one candidate as the option.... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-51140071 Would you expect anything else from wannabe Commies? Re: General Election

Some epic failings of tactical voting. City of London goes to the Tories despite them taking 17k votes and the greens, labour and lib dems taking 25k votes. Not sure that particular constituency represents a failure of tactical voting - the Lib Dems parachuting Chukka in there was hostile to Labour...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Preston North End, Sat 11 Jan 2020, KO 1500

I'm not sure I agree with Friedel being an unscouted unknown - He'd been to the world cup twice, had several moves to England blocked by work permit rules before going to Liverpool, and had played for Souness before at Galatasaray. Pedersen did feel like he'd been signed after playing Championship M...

He's training to be a builder going by that article:

Re: Bristol City v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 14 Dec 2019, KO 15:00

I'd make some sarcastic comment about sacking Mowbray, but it's getting boring. Give him a five year contract now. It won't be long before other clubs come after him. Almost at the halfway stage, and I note there's only 4 teams won more games than us so far this season. Getting hard not to get carri...

Re: Swansea v Blackburn Rovers

Amen to that, Mcteeth. Bristol City will be tough without Dack; not to mention Downing & DG having a short week on rubber legs to get ready. Maybe the youth will rise to the occasion. I would love to see Tony pull it off, and shut up the “sack Mowbray” crowd. Unbeaten in 5, and 19 pts taken in the ...

Re: Swansea v Blackburn Rovers

Right that's it, winning streak over... back to shouting "Mowbray out!" They basically are on the other forum. Saw something about settling for a point away at Swansea demonstrates how mediocre we've become under Mowbray... They basically haven't stopped since he was given the job. They're ...
