Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Williams would do well in the MLS. Very physical league with even more laughable officiating.

Re: 2019/2020 season

7 wins is definitely the safe route of securing playoffs. However, I think 5 wins would do it. But that's entirely subjective upon how the other 6 clubs around us do. The only positive I see coming from this is it gives those injuries time to reconsider if they can come back and push for a playoff s...

Re: The Club Formerly Known As Frank Lampard's Now Wayne Rooney's Derby County v Blackburn Rovers, Sun 8 March 2020, KO

One big loss like this isn't a reason to go nuclear. We are missing Lenihan, Dack, and Holtby. Not to mention Rothwell was absolutely crap, we started a lineup that made no sense and just opened up the middle of the park. Managers can get the tactics wrong sometimes, and he went for an attacking lin...

Re: The Club Formerly Known As Frank Lampard's Now Wayne Rooney's Derby County v Blackburn Rovers, Sun 8 March 2020, KO

Woof, that was a bad 30 minutes. Started okay in the first 15 minutes, then a serious drop off. Wouldn't be surprised if Rothwell comes off for Johnson. Rothwell was absolutely anonymous that half. Brereton had a couple of okay runs. Seems like there's a lot of miscommunication going on. Really have...

Brereton starting

Hopefully his awkward running style can win us another penalty.
His last two sub appearances were more promising than Samuel's start and sub appearances.

Re: The Club Formerly Known As Frank Lampard's Now Wayne Rooney's Derby County v Blackburn Rovers, Sun 8 March 2020, KO

Our run in for the last 10 I feel is much tougher than those around us. Wigan (especially), Barnsley, and Luton have all found really good form as of late. Cardiff, Bristol City, and Reading have run into bad patches, while WBA, Derby, Leeds, and Millwall are kind of self-explanatory tough matches. ...

Re: My trip to Ewood.

Glad you got to visit and see some matches! This just makes me jealous and can't wait to do this next year when I get some vacation time.

I feel like we were in playoff position for a week this season. None the less, we are really hobbling along with the bare minimum.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Swansea City, Sat 29 Feb 2020, KO 1500

I guess I will allow myself to think about @Derby & Bristol now... At least we get Lenihan back vs Bristol. If we can luck out in either of those two, we might maintain playoff push. Unlikely, it’s true, but with two ties this week, aren’t we closer to final playoff spot than we were before Stoke? ...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Swansea City, Sat 29 Feb 2020, KO 1500

Nyambe. That's who's least likely to score. Full-time, hard fought and deserved point. Really wish we got the win, some extremely questionable refereeing decisions. But so glad we pulled out a draw. Swansea really played some serious shithouse football at the end, time-wasting at every possible minu...
