Do you think you two can manage to be in the same room without bickering? Brian and I are organising a poker night in a getting the band back together type way.
Will depend when it is really; have a two week old bambino so need to be on hand to help!

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

So every time someone makes a comment about "people" you assume it applies to yourself, even if it you don't fit the criteria of what they're speaking about? At least I can see where you're going wrong now... "Most normal human beings" would recognise there is a group of "p...

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

Are you even reading what I'm writing? You're taking 2+2 and getting seventy million. How does encouraging people who are working to continue working in a different location prevent the economy crashing? I'm not getting pedantic about the word office; I'm taking this in context with all the other sp...

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

:yeahright: as normal, total failure to even acknowledge the point. The majority of people who would work in the City are still working: from home. And the likes of HSBC, Citibank etc are hardly in need of any support. And don't talk utter bollocks. Libertarianism is the banner under which allow Ame...

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

Very obviously referring to those who've not been able to continue working from home - the people he was addressing know that, the Guardian knows that. No doubt you know it too. But as always, it's much easier to fake outrage by putting an impossible interpretation on someone's turn of phrase than ...

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

Not very obvious at all, not least because those furloughed aren't primarily office based but also because of the government's drive, particularly in London, to get people back into the City to get businesses like Pret back going and prop up the commercial property space sector.

Re: Current Events/News

I only read the headline for that at first and got excited that perhaps Germany was seeing sense in how vaccines work in reducing transmission in society as key workers and younger people are more likely to spread so should be vaccinated first despite not being in an at risk capacity, then read it a...

Re: Current Events/News

It's not just the journalists. Whitty uses the same charts too. :footinmouth: Yeah, well he's enjoying his 15 minutes. The media should be scrutinising what he provides rather than just regurgitating it. Funny that they're trying to back pedal on that now, given it makes the rate the worst in the w...

What you’re saying is that you’re against loans because they don’t help Rovers in the long run, Mowbray is just stating that it’s a shame that the loaned player has to go back. If he agreed with you he wouldn’t sign loan players
Don't forget that hw also wants Mowbray out. ;)

Re: Rovers vs. Doncaster, FA Cup: Post-match

Ayala & Douglas have been far off their performance this year, we won’t lose much when they return to their clubs. Didn’t we sign Ayala on a 3 year deal? 😀 You are right, but based on what we’ve seen from him so far (or, what we’ve NOT seen from him), I don’t have any wildly successful expectat...
