I don't want to discuss anything with you because you take my words, cut them down and remove them from the context in which they were written. Been made a fool of? You've obviously mistaken me for somebody who gives a fuck :-D So, Yeah, Fuck you basically! LOL. Keep digging, you'll hit Australia s...

John Williams: "We have to accept responsibility for our own business, and its unique problems. We are a small town, with a small fan base playing in the big city set-up of the Premier League. "To some extent the mists of reality have dawned over Ewood Park but let's not confuse mist with...

Re:

Well, I said ' If it means McCarthy is leaving'. Some press speculation, but I too hope that this purchase is because the Nonda deal is off and Jeffers is gone. However, the speculation about Benni hasn't stopped. And no doubt some bored, lazy, mischevious hack will get Pedersen and Bentley rumours...

Re:

HaterNob claimed we signed players to sell on for a profit at a later date... No, I was suggesting that the club runs at a loss and that revenue from transfer fees helps the club stay in existance. Also, pointing out the fact that young players are generally sold at a profit, and senior players a l...

Re:

I think sometimes people forget that there is often much more to a transfer than simply the fact that the player will be playing for that said club on the football pitch. Clubs like Blackburn pretty much subsidise their existance through profit from transfers so it's critical for the club to invest...

Re:

So, you're pointing out that we've lost money on senoir players like Cole, Yorke, Grabbi, Ferguson, Amoruso? That seems to add weight to my arguement?! Bellamy? Did we even make a million on him? I was thinking more along the lines of Duff/Dunn. The fact that our board is activley seeking investmen...

Re:

You were referring to my post where I pointed out we'd made a massive loss on most players who we've willingly sold. Doesn't matter if they were any good or not, HaterNob claimed we signed players to sell on for a profit at a later date... last time I remember us selling coz we needed the mon...

Re:

Clubs like Blackburn pretty much subsidise their existance through profit from transfers so it's critical for the club to invest in youth and to profit from their inevitable sale.. You are believing the media. What players in recent times have we sold to subsidise our existance? If anything, we've ...

You're right, youth shouldn't be the only factor in transfer decision but it'd be incredibly nieve to not recognise that it's an advantage.

Perhaps another justifiable reason for buying players younger is the potential of a sell on fee when they leave?

Re:

No, are you a professional nit-picker? ;) You've got me on that one! :-) ..and to be fair, whether he's 21 or 23 isn't so important, either way this player's got youth on his side and if he has cost in the £400k region as suggested in some of the press then I can't see what we've got to lose really.
