Good thing is we are picking up wins and Dack and rest of attacking players have not even started firing yet.

Great result. Superb performance from many today. Walton commanded his box well and obviously great penalty save. Saw out the second half so well.

Re: 2019/2020 season

Opening game i’m Going for a hot summers day. Going for a possession based line up. Then last 30 mins bringing on the pace of Armstrong and Brereton. Gone with Bennett over Nyambe as if we need to push for a winner and Johnson gets tired then Bennett can move into midfield. Johnson becoming the sit ...

Opening game what do people want our starting line up to be?
Using current squad I.e not players potentially about to sign. Only players that are likely to be in the squad I.e Samuel, davenport, Williams etc missing out through injury.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

If we did go for Walton has anyone seen if it would be a loan or fee?

Re: Friendly: Rangers/Rovers.

Sounds like our keeper made a few great saves as well. Defoe scoring a header is not great.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I don’t mind getting downing as long as we get Marcus Maddison as well. Marcus is still fairly young and could learn from downing. Having Downing’s experience in the squad will also help. Downing played 40 games last season so the fitness is obviously still there.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Plenty of players out of contract that would be handy in our squad. Also depending on how their clubs get on in the playoffs. I would love Marcus Maddison. Another season of assists assists assists. Also Joe Aribo would be fantastic. Although his midfield partner Fosu was meant to be better a few y...

Former Rover Josh Morris playing the villain for Scunthorpe at Plymouth. The keeper was injured and tried to play the ball out but Morris intercepted it and scored. Great finish though, and fair play to him. That was an equaliser in a huge game in a relegation battle, you take every chance you get....

Re: The Penultimate Match: Canaries in the Coal Mine v Doggos Barking at Canaries, Sat 27 April 2019, KO 19:30

Long way for us to go £ transfer wise to match Norwich. They have done great spending only 7m to go from 14th place to league winners. Yes they sold players but the squad as a whole is not a cheap squad compared to ours. Klose was 8.5m, Hanley 3.5, pinto 2.2, Rhodes & Krul wages won’t be cheap. A nu...
