I expect he'll be the first alternate to the midfield duo of Travis and Johnson, takes some pressure off Buckley in the short term. Has top tier and international experience, still young enough and on a free. Evans and Smallwood should definitely be moved on in Jan. Most of that applied to Jack Rod...

Speculative wishlists from people with no power to grant them do not change the fact there was no withdrawl agreement in place with the EU at the time of the referendum, and no guarantee that we would ever get one. What about the 27.79% of the electorate who didn’t bother to/abstained to vote? Should your proposed compromise take their choice into account by the government being a bit dithery and failing to make any meaningful impact? Oh wait... ;)
