I didn’t say they were mutually exclusive, I was suggesting that I don’t really trust the objectives of those in power. There's whole industries built around pensions and housing, that also generate jobs and tax revenues. But I'm sure you know that. Whether it works or not depends on your objectives.

To be fair a large chunk of people who dislike this season seem to be have put Daenerys, Jon, Jamie or A.N.Other on pedestals and flipped out at the writers perceived betrayal of their favourite character. Dramatically the writers made a huge error in episode 3 - which would have been better placed ...
