Re: 2019/2020 season

Is Mulgrew playing regularly for Wigan? Similarly is Magloire playing every week? Mulgrew has recently been starting at Wigan but Magloire has a long term injury. Tony Mowbray has lost two of his first choice defenders leaving Rovers short of quality at centre defence and left back. Should he look ...

Does Mulgrew have a recall clause? :D
We cannot recall until the next transfer window according to the lancashire telegraph. Rovers have four central defenders out on loan.

Re: Ewood Park tour.

Time to blood the youngsters. Joe Grayson just needs an oportunity and this could be it. But if we are struggling defensively we just need to park the bus. What kind of park is open to interpretation.

Re: 2019/2020 season

Cunningham has been fantastic since he came in and his loss is just what you don't need when you have shipped four goals. Hart and Bell have not shown they are championship quality. A back four of Bennett-Lenihan-Adarabioyo-Williams looks decent enough.

Re: Greg Cunningham

Williams at left back and bring in Adarabioyo in central defence.

Re: Ewood Park tour.

We have Parks where we walk, run, play have pinics and many other things recreational. Some even legal. One thing we don't do is park in a park. Why do we call them parks.

Re: Vilius Piliukaitis

Does anyone know what happened to him? Seems to have had a decent season with the under 18s (12 games 4 goals 4 assists) but no sight of him anywhere on the club website. Did a google search for him covering the last month and a footballer of the same name is currently playing for the Lithuanian un...

Re: Queens Park Rangers v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 5 Oct 2019, KO 15:00

Always best to leave comments on a game for 24 hours or so to let it sink in particularly after a disappointing result. Rovers were beaten fair and square but injuries to both Cunningham and Lenihan did not help. A lot can be said about the team and Tony Mowbray but a lot of it is negative and perha...

Re: Blackburn vs Luton thread.

Strange result can happen in football but don't really affect the season. As Waco said earlier Rovers beat Newcastle twice who got promoted and Rovers relegated a few seasons ago. I still think Rovers will finish higher in the league than both Luton and Charlton,

QPR on Saturday hopefully :hyper:
Forest at home on Tuesday first but least we don't expect to win that one so maybe a favourable result for Rovers.

Re: Blackburn vs Luton thread.

Took my dog for a walk and got soaked this morning. Took my mum shopping and equally got soaked again. With this in mind i am wondering whether the weather played a part in Rovers downfall today. It certainly affected my performance today and my pile of laundry.

Re: Blackburn vs Luton thread.

This is a big game for Rovers. Maybe not as big as Texas but sizeable. Maybe Rhode Island sized.

Re: Reading/Blackburn

Rovers next opponents Luton looked absolute pants losing 0-3 to Hull yesterday. The third goal was pure comedy. Nothing guaranteed in football but Rovers should be looking at three points definitely. A good all round performance yesterday but i am concerned Sam Gallagher is not scoring as many we kn...

Re: Reading/Blackburn

This would have been 2-2 last season or perhaps worse. Momentum is building now so without being too optimistic maybe we could be in for a promising season. Lets hope so. Still room for improvement with finishing teams off but overall any win away from home is an excellent performance.

Re: Lewis Holtby

Tony Mowbray wanted Harrison Read back on loan before Fulham offered more money so it is not a surprise that he has brought in another midfielder. It was his birthday yesterday but even at the age of 29 he still can be described as being at his best. Got a good feeling about Lewis Holtby being a Rov...
