Re: Rovers vs. Doncaster, FA Cup: Post-match
What you’re saying is that you’re against loans because they don’t help Rovers in the long run, Mowbray is just stating that it’s a shame that the loaned player has to go back. If he agreed with you he wouldn’t sign loan players

Re: Rovers vs. Doncaster, FA Cup: Post-match
I’ve already said Tosin was our best defender... but we weren’t going to keep him. We simply got another loan this year to replace him. Bentley was before my time. Yes, we did eventually purchase Graham. If there’s an eye towards doing this, great. Re: Adarabioyo, we knew at the time we could not p...

Re: Quarantine Boxing Day Edition: Blackburn Rovers v Sheffield Wednesday, Sat 26 Dec 2020, KO 1500
Douglas needs dropped fast. He is a massive liability in defense and does absolutely nothing for attacking. Anytime the ball goes to his feet, everything stops. Honestly I wouldn't mind sending him back to Leeds and try to find someone else. Dack, Brereton and Downing coming on changed everything. ...

Re: Quarantine at the Dinner Table Edition: Blackburn Rovers v Rotherham, Wed 16 Dec 2020, KO 1945
A win is a win. That was, by far, the worst win I have seen. Rotherham will be walking away angry that they didn't at least get a point. But it's a win. Garbage time winner. Fuck Rotherham. If anti-football and industrial scale time wasting is how you want to play, then conceding 98th minute goals ...

Re: Quarantine in a hat edition: Blackburn Rovers @ Luton
So important to have strength in depth. Holtby, Travis, Evans and Dack missing but Rothwell and hopefully Downing back, however I'm guessing Buckley will get a start. Not sure what to make of this lad - got stacks of promise but I can't help thinking he's not quite ready yet. Buckley is the kind of...

Amazing that, innit? Its almost like its the players on the pitch not the manager...
The LT has the same muppets but from the other perspective. Every individual error is Mowbray’s fault and wouldn’t happen for any other manager in the football league.

Agree, I was more meaning that Wharton is an unknown quantity rather than stating he’s not betterThorisgodpoo wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 8:24 pmI think at some point, Wharton needs to be given a shot. Lenihan isn't really putting in top performances right now, and best to check out what Wharton has to offer.

Re: Quarantine in a Bottle Edition: Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 31 Oct 2020, KO 1500
Half time, pretty uninspiring stuff. Getting decent possession with no real service. Armstrong having the best 3 chances for Rovers. That corner for Swansea that led to the goal was too easy for Lenihan to give up. Essentially couldn't get any leverage on his man to bully him out of position. Not s...

He’s 22, don’t make a scapegoat of him on his first match. We could have had Alisson in goal and we’d have lost defending like that.
