Re: Stoke City v Blackburn Rovers, Sat, 30 Nov 2019, KO 15:00

What has happened to Evans  Playing like a machine. I don’t think this is much higher than Evans usual standard, which to clarify, I feel is quite good. The season were relegated we really missed him. Last season his poorer performances came when Smallwood or Travis lost their positional dis...

Re: General Election

What are the Chief Rabbi's ties to Boris Johnson? I've seen he issued a public statement referring to him as a "friend" when he became PM, but I've seen on Twitter that he did the same when May became PM, his predecessor welcomed Blair in the same way too. I'm not sure there's too much to be read i...

Re: General Election

Defending it was the wrong term I admit. But, you are seeking to draw distinctions that have no ethical imperative or real world value for the sake of winning a debate on an Internet forum. Semantic differences have no place in the comparison of the ills of anti-semitism and islamophobia, there ver...

Re: General Election

That’s a weak and slightly shameful defence. There is more than enough written, researched and read into the the debate to conclude that Islamaphobia is a racialised discourse. Someone of your intellect should know better than to deny it.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Barnsley, Sat, 23 Nov 2019, KO 15:00

I remember us winning 1-0 against QPR at home, February 2017. It was our last win under Coyle. It felt so pointless at the time. Even though we’d won, it felt like nothing had been achieved and there would be no upturn in form around the corner. I think he was sacked two or three games later. Sadly,...

The Great escape, Blackburn style. Almost the reverse of the Preston match. Very impressed with Tosin today, even before he scored. Would love to keep this lad but I think we'll be seeing him in pale blue next season. I'd prefer him over Stones any day. I thought Downing was poor today, surely time...

Current managers available include Chris Huyton, Tony Pulis and Mark Hughes...and Jose Mourhinho
Pulis and Hughes aren’t up to the rigours of modern football; I’d rather move back to England than see either at Rovers.

To be fair Travis and Johnson we’re both shit against Birmingham. Not sure Bennett should be in there, I wonder if a Buckley/ Davenport combination would bear fruit?

Wonderful, Holtby out injured, the free scoring Gallagher in. Otherwise same team as Saturday.
To be fair, they’ve both scored the same number of goals so far this season ;) :)

Re: Obituaries...

Seemed like a well loved and sweet man. He may not have had the most palatable voice, nor perhaps was he a particularly "good" musician, but he wrote some exceptionally good songs. The Devil and Daniel Johnston was incredibly moving and well worth a watch.
