Am I right in thinking that our legal option to withdraw article 50 expires on the 29th regardless of any extension? I wouldn't have thought so... the EU would allow it because of the extension, and parliament will allow it because they can just make it legal.... well, if they could agree on it of ...

Does the EU pinning the backstop onto May's deal change it substantively to allow a vote... as in changes the consequences without materially changing the bill itself?

Either way that leaves Long extension vs No deal?
