Re: Blackburn Rovers v 'Frank Lampard's' Derby County, Tue 9 April 2019, KO 19:45

Weirdly mirrored the reverse fixture earlier this season except we finally made the domination count. Performance of the season, brilliant from everyone and really pleasing for Rothwell. For me the foundation of us playing that well is having a pair like Travis and Reed centrally. Not only are they ...

The difference with Travis and Reed over Smallwood and Evans is fairly large.

Rothwell looking good.

No Smallwood in 18 either. If not injured is a bit of a statement.

No Chapman so guessing he’ll be in the 18 tomorrow as a sub.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v 'Frank Lampard's' Derby County, Tue 9 April 2019, KO 19:45

They've also scored 9 in their last 2 games and we can't really defend currently so doesn't look good.

In our current form I think we're essentially looking at trying to get some points from QPR away then Bolton at home over Easter as we're likely to lose the rest.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v 'Frank Lampard's' Derby County, Tue 9 April 2019, KO 19:45

Tomorrow will be a much tougher test than Stoke and Derby will be desperate for points having twice been pegged back against Brentford, especially late on in the game. With Middlesbrough in dreadful form it's seems like a straight fight between Derby and Bristol for 6th so they'll be no let up for R...

Appreciate we’ve had injuries but think Mowbray needs to tinker less with the side at times. He’d talked about changes this weekend but I just can’t understand starting Evans and Smallwood especially when you’ve got Travis and Reed sat on the bench.

No Dack in the 18. Travis dropped bizarrely.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Stoke City, Sat 6 April 2019, KO 15:00

Stoke have drawn their last 4 games 0-0. So a team struggling for goals I really hope we don't gift them a couple of goals as seems to be our custom.

Re: How will Rovers finish 2018-2019 season?

Hell, Mcteeth =- I agree every word of that :king: Probably right about Trapp too Thor. Bauer and Trapp would be some good early business to get done, although both unproven in the Championship (Bauer did have 19 appearances back in 2015/16 for Charlton). If we want be signing proven quality at ful...

Re: How will Rovers finish 2018-2019 season?

I think we'd be safe if we lost all of our remaining games as I can't see Rotherham getting 12 points in 7 games, especially when their fixture is probably trickier than ours. As I think Ipswich and Bolton will remain at the bottom. But I think we'll get some points against Bolton, QPR and Swansea w...

1-0 at half time is somewhat of a success.

I’m not sure it matters who plays today. Aside from Graham the youngsters do just as well if not better than our senior players really.

Re: Aston Villa v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 30 March 2019, KO 15:00

Good that we should have a "first" choice back 4 tomorrow eventhough I'm not sure what it is. But Villa have the best scoring record at home this season and we've got the worst defensive record away this season. They're also looking to cement a play-off spot and are within reach of the automatic spo...
