Re: benjani on his way to blackburn

4 million for Benjani is good business. What do City fans think of Santa Cruz after doing bugger all for Bayern Munich and one good season at Rovers. Ok he's a proven goal scorer but is more likely to spend more time injured than fit. Not that City will be short of striker's of course.

Re: Nikola Kalinic

Why didn't he just hide in a lorry and smuggle himself through Dover like the rest do.

Re: Season Previews

Me thinks seventh or eighth isn't beyond Rovers. The race for the title i think will be very close with United not as strong as last term. Liverpool again won't be too far away with Chelsea i guess might be looking for another manager after Christmas. City for all there money and players doesn't mak...

Re: spurs want big chris - we say no!... or do we...?

If this is true and for once the Sun newspaper aren't talking crap then ten million for Chris Samba is too good to turn down. Rovers could do with some creative players now with the absence of Tugay. Perhaps the re-introduction of David Bentley might give some service to the new front lads. With a w...

Re: Gallagher off?

Its still strange whats going on with Paul Gallagher. One minute he's in Plymouth and is out the door. Then he's back in favour and now Rovers have two new striker's albeit one on loan. That gives Rovers McCarthy, Robert, Kalinic and Di Santo plus Sam has given Nathan Ellington a trial. Reports on sk...

Re: Nikola Kalinic

Wow such a progressive couple of days for Rovers with the Argentinian DiSanto and Croatian Kalinic. With eager anticipation i turn to sky sports football website for the next international striker Rovers are looking at. What do i find...........Nathan fooking Ellington of Watford fame!!!!!!!! :numpty;

Re: Nikola Kalinic

Rovers have been looking for a Replacement for RSC. It must have been difficult looking for a injury prone south american with one good season behind him. Anyways it looks like BFS has chosen Nikola Kalinic and i must admit after viewing the footage on youtube he does resemble RSC a bit with his abi...

Re: The future's bright, the future's Allardyce

Although i've got blue and white blood in my veins i find it hard to think that rovers might be challenging for Europe this coming season as some have suggested. Don't get me wrong it would be ace to see rovers finish in the top six or seven. But you know before the Big kick off that its gonna be Un...

Re: The future's bright, the future's Allardyce

Me thinks the future with BFS is bright. I don't think there is another Manager around who can do the job that was required at Rovers last season and the coming season after the mess Ince left. The player's he has brought in don't suggest to me that it's going to be all the big slog upfield and hope...

Re: Do we want to buy a Kamel?

Rovers buying a Kamel.........makes a change from buying donkeys..........An Algerian too that means just when you need them they bugger off to the African nations cup for a month. If this goes through and Rovers spend say 2 million does that mean the rest of the transfer kitty maybe 10 million goes...

Re: who will replace santa cruz ??

Has many of you probably know Peter Crouch is off to Spurs and Darren Bent is in talks with Sunderland. If both these transfers go through then that leaves Rovers probably having to look abroad. Not that i would want to see Bent at Rovers. If Big Sam wasn't at Leeds yesterday then dare i say he was ...

Re: who will replace santa cruz ??

I WASN'T SHOUTING AND I NEVER LOSE MY TEMPER  I just hope Sam doesn't panic buy which i don't think he will. Maybe he might be better waiting until the January sales. Probably Mark Hughes will be unemployed by then which is my bet for the first managerial casualty. The way things are at the mo ...
