FA Cup

Newcastle away which is a very naff draw. Although at least there’ll be 52,000 of the most passionate fans ever there.

I see it a different way. An opportunity to try and go away from home against a lower Prem club and cause an upset. All the pressure on them. We have a good record there so bring it on!

Yeah I know what you mean. We do have a good record there in the league I’ve seen a couple of wins up there.

Didn’t we have this draw a few seasons ago and lose 3-0 or so?

If Newcastle are tempted to rest some players and Rovers dont then i can see Rovers having a chance. We beat them twice in the Rovers relegation season so even when we are shit we still win. The BBC should have this as a televised game.

I certainly remember a 2-1 loss.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Rafa rests a few for this but at the same time TM might for us. Who knows what things will look like come the new year for both teams.

1-0 Charlie Mulgrew with his magical head off a corner.

Newcastle are pretty shit really. Debravka (sp) is good, Lascelles, Shelley when he can be bothered and Perez but otherwise not a daunting prospect.

I can see Arma netting a winner :hyper:

Yep you’re right it was was 2-1 in 2012 we took the lead and Ben Arfa scored that amazing solo goal.

One thing I'd bet my house to a cup of tea on..............the Media will drag out Alan Shearer for his comments.

Another dreary draw. Got down to the last 4 balls and we missed Burnley!

Yup we missed Burnley by a couple of balls in the bag!......Arsenal v Leeds looks like the tie of the round.

I remember it well. One word- “parity.”

Blackburn was relegated, but swept Championship winners Newcastle by identical scores. As if that wasn’t enough, Danny Graham appeared to have the winner over MU in the Cup until Mourinho inserted Pogba & Zlatan to get the winner.

I was realistic enough to realize despite 51 pts, we just weren’t good enough. But hopeful enough to believe we would bounce up on the 1st try.
