Sven Goran Eriksson Interview on his time in Itay
After those five years, both the club and I thought it was time to move on – so I signed for Blackburn Rovers. Some days after I had signed that contract, Lazio approached me. They had a great team, but they had not won any trophies for more than 20 years – although I knew that in Sergio Cragnotti they had a good chairman. I knew their ambitions, so I asked Blackburn: “Please, let me go to Lazio.” After many meetings, they said: “OK. We understand.” I thank Blackburn for that every day.
I didn't realise he's actually signed back then and then been allowed to go.

He's aged well. Sorry, backwards.

I know all y’all saw these games years ago, but I love seeing all the videos now posted by BRFC on YouTube. I just watched the Worthington Cup Final vs. Spurs. I thought Berg was amazing. No qualms with Friedel being MotM, he made a couple of great saves, but for me, Berg was the man.

Let’s see...Rovers didn’t have Neill, Tugay, Flitcroft, or Short, and a FL Cup winner?! Insane!

Mark Hughes, 90 min in that match, the announcers never gave him credit for anything until the very end.
