It's getting closer and closer. Thank god it's not at ewood now we have the 3rd most home defeats in the prem
Anyone recommend any pubs near the ground other than the obvious and no doubt rammed wetherspoons?
EDIT: We can't let
this get lost can we?

Afraid I don't really know that area so well. There's a pub opposite the Trafford Bar tram station that's alright. Not sure what we're planning to do yet regarding when we're getting there and such.

The Throstles Nest is ok if you're coming in from Chorlton. There is a pub right in the middle of Trafford Park which is usually quiet as it has no Sky TV. There is the American Bar & Grill next to Frankie & Bennys & Chiquitos, and the Quay House - on the quays (on metro line), both short walk away. Couple of bars at the Lowry (Lime prob the best). Then there is Sam Platts which will be rammed. Also the Quadrant towards the Cricket ground but not one I've been in recently.

Apparently the pigs will be issueing information but in the meantime Rovers asked Man U and they suggested Rovers fans drink in the quays area.
Surely the shitty bars like Lime are more suited to the southern fags?

Its the Lowry mate, what kind of bar did you expect? I'd go to the Quay House personally.

It's hardly life changing but does food and beer - there is just fuck all choice for anywhere else. Really poorly serviced for pubs around there.

To Old Trafford? There's a train from one of the Manchester stations that runs straight into the stadium. Not sure which one is goes from though.

I wish one would run straight into the stadium. Prefereably bout 2 minutes after the final whistle, via the club shop.
