Yet another trip to deepdale for a friendly. Last time we had more fans than them.

I reckon we won't get much fans this time as last time we played them, they weren't expecting much in the up-coming season, this year I think they'll turn up, despite having lost Nugent. :-?

Yeah, but he belongs in the "must give 110% camp you lazy bastards, friendly is no excuse!" camp.

Yup i'm going too, after braving the queues at the Ewood ticket office twice on Saturday and very nearly missing the start of the Vetra game.

there were some people who missed the fisrst 30 minutes and lots who just gave up trying to get a ticket. I queued for nearly an hour and mised tohe first 10 minutes.. Better ticketing arrangements needed me thinks.. whatever happened to paying on the turnstile?? like there is going to be a rpoblem with 9 vetra fans.....

But there would be if 50 Burnley fans decided to tourn up to cause trouble.....

Ticketing arrangements are fine; just the wallies who try to get t5hem ten minutes before the matcha that have problems....

I do that a lot, it's normally fine. It's just that this time there were a few more than expected and the computers went down.
The club did well though in all fairness, they started selling adult tickest from the little collections cabin next to the shop for non season ticket holders and there were stewards telling anyone joining the queue to go over there instead..

Occasionally we get comments on here that leave me unable to do anything but stare at the screen in disbelief...
