I swear you'd find innuendo in a yes/no answer...

I heard he cleared the 2nd test, would back up his not guilty plea.

The folks on BRFCS appear to have decided that he's pleaded "not guilty" because he's had a previous offence and is facing a stint at Her Majesty's Pleasure when found guilty over this, which they seem to think is inevitable... :yeahright:

If you've been arrested for drink driving and breath tests show you over the limit at the time you were pulled over and the second test back at the police station you literally have no defence what so ever.

There has to be a reason for the not guilty plea.

I'm not defending the guy for a second but sounds like not much will come of this.

The second test at the police station showed he was under the limit according to the press at the time of the charge. That's a pretty strong defence.

Yeah that is what I heard.

My theory is, had a couple of glasses of red post match with Fergie, left Ewood a good 4 hours after, felt fine to drive (not an excuse), got pulled over and will get away with it on the second test being negative.

They always use the lowest reading taken. The ones done at the road side aren't used. They take 2 more samples at the station.

Can you tell i watch those stupid police shows like Traffic Cops.

I hope that Kean gets sent to prison for a very long time over this. Drink driving is an absolute disgrace, puts countless others at risk, and needs to be stamped down upon hard.

At the very least they need to take his licence and give him 6 months inside. I would prefer a couple of years in jail though.

Excuse me? This is the man who hasn't been convicted of anything and who reportedly tested negative at the station. You'd be a bit of a dick to go making judgements about something you know nothing about now wouldn't you. Or were you the arresting officer and at the subsequent tests? Thought not.

There's no smoke without fire, and he wouldn't be the first person to be able to cheat the test. Why did the police pull his car over unless they saw he was driving like a twat? Be a bit too much of a coincidence for it to be a routine stop and him just 'happen' to be over the limit don't you think?

He was clearly drink driving and I hope they throw the book at him.
