To be fair he improved in the 2nd half. He was dire in the first, blatantly biased towards the arse, but more fair in the 2nd.

I usually watch Southport in Blue Square North and have seen some pretty dire refs but this Wiley takes the biscuit.Cannot remember seeing a ref so biased to one side. However on the law of averages Rovers will eventually get a ref who gives them a better than fair shout.Great atmosphere and very well organised stadium.Rovers have 3 more fans!

Wiley was crap. he failed to protect the gifted players and ducked out of difficult decisions.

walcott was hauled down when clear through. No free kick, no yellow card.
Van persie was repeatedly felled, and kicked whilst on the floor, by 2 Rovers thugs. The result: normally a free kick to the Muggers..

Ryan nelso hauled down an attacker as the last man, denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity- result: only a Yellow card. Luckily the Rovers thug had already been booked - so he walked. But The ref again ducked the big decision.

Time an Time again, savage kicked and elbowed the more skilfull players. time and time agin, the ref played to the Baying crowd.

Savage is a disgrace and should have been booked on any one of three occasions. The \"Man\" is not fit to walk on a Premier League pitch.
The crowd refereeed the second half. Wiley left his manhood in the dressing room. he bottled it to make sure he got off the Car park.

Too true, that shifty looking lad up front for Arsenal was doing his best to try and injure someone...

What is it with people called 'Phil'? :-D

Rovers have skillful players, but seem hell-bent on assaulting Arsenal. If they had played football in the second half when Wenger did his \"shut-up-shop\" at 1-0, you could have won.

as it is - we now face 3 weeks with 2 key players.

Why do Rovers have to be so violent?
