I've only ever known Rovers do things comfortably on one occasion and that was gain promotion back to the PL in 2001. Every other time its been about hanging on and battling for every point or cup win. We're currently 8 points of the play offs with a minus 1 goal difference. Can we do it?...Well its certainly going to be interesting.

If giving Rhodes the captains armband is enough to get him scoring again, then let him keep it I say! :D

I'd like to know how Dwayne can spin this one into a negative. Its funny how he hasn't posted since the 3rd goal went in

Great result by the boys! Rhodes showing his class again!

Shame about the injuries, Gestede's sounds horrible!

Makes the loss at home to bloody BOURNEMOUTH feel like such a kick in the balls right now though.

Overall it probably wasn't as exciting a game as the scoreline suggests.

Rovers started brightly and got the early goal, but they came back into it and were well on top towards the end of the 1st half, and were finding it far too easy to pin us back in our own box. They also started the 2nd half brightly until Rovers scored the 2nd against the run of play. They never really looked like getting back into it after that point, even at 3-2. Both the 3rd and 4th Rovers goals were gifts, however, and the result of poor individual errors.

Rovers actually created very little in the game in terms of good chances and didn't play particularly well, but a win is a win. Managed to win about £50 betting on Jordan Rhodes to score next at various points on my phone

Nice to get the win and score 4. Sounded like it could have gone either way at 1-1.

It's a very long shot, but we're not entirely out of the play-off picture just yet - but will need a couple of the teams above us to be majorly bad as well as us going on a winning steak as never seen before.
Still, Leicester at home should tell us where we are currently at.
