I assume the weird kick off time is to do with the anniversary of the Hillsborough Disaster?

I think so.

Going to miss this one sadly... although on the plus side I'll be in the lakes and not hillsbrough... so every cloud and all. Will probably be a tougher game than we're expecting but we really should win with the way we've been playing recently.

They put up one of the best away side performances I've seen this season, and they looked good against Leicester last Friday. I'm not surprised they've dragged themselves into mid-table, and it shows they had good reason to get rid of Jones.

Sheff Wednesday's run of form has been as inconsistent as they come. Wins against Brighton, Birmingham and QPR have been met by losses to Doncaster, Yeovil, Wigan (though game) as well as a 4-1 thrashing by Watford. One draw away at Forest and a loss away at Leicester too is the rest of their last nine games.

Hardest game of our run in I feel, but if we win I think we give our self a genuine chance of making the play-offs.

What are our other games? As you can recall we've dropped some very very silly points when we didn't think we would! Bloody Charlton being the worst if i recall!

Yeovil at home, Birmingham away, Charlton away and Wigan at home.

You could argue we could win or lose any of them, but I'd have said the Charlton game is the toughest because it's likely they'll still need points to survive and have been fighting hard to stay up recently. But then Birmingham haven't won at home since 1st October ( ), so no doubt someone will argue we're guaranteed to lose that one...

I've no doubt Wednesday are good enough to beat us on their day, but we're getting to the stage of the season when games are often decided by who needs the points more.

Yeah we don't have the greatest record against Birmingham either from what i remember :paranoid:

They ain't the hardest games in the world but you never know! Charlton have managed to pull themselves out of relegation recently, Birmingham have a good record against us (i think), Wigan will be tough either way under Uwe Rosler but might be safe in the play-offs by then, Sheff Weds you never know what to expect whilst Yeovil will be fighting for their lives and have too managed a few wins in the last month or so!

Sicknote injured again. Not much of a loss though.

And in other news DJ is back. He can't play for us. Is under investigation. And we also have to play his wages in full.

In fairness to him, he has filled Grella's role excellently!

It is better that he is injured to be honest.

Rhodes and Gestede both fit :hyper:

Sheff Wednesday are reported to have serious injury problems regarding defenders. They might have to play Martin 'Tiny' Taylor who has yet to make an appearance this season for Wednesday. They conceded three last time out against Forest. Us on the other hand have dispatched two of the better clubs in this league without conceding a goal recently. Our injury problems seem to have eased giving us the chance to field just about a full strength team. Dare i say its all coming together quite nicely in the final five games.

Sportmole seem to think Leon Best will be starting against us...

Question? Will Best and all of our of the loanees be available for the play offs should we finish sixth or better. i'm guessing the answer is no as the terms of the loans run through past the end of May. I do like Leon Best as a player. He just lets himself down when he opens his gob.
