Me too... and I'll have a pie on the side in case I ever need to be a Wigan fan.

Took me years to get my head around Black pudding but i like it now. Same with haggis. Rhubarb i had a mental phobia against having been bullied into eating it by dinner ladies at school. Same with prunes which i have never eaten since primary school. Faggots i find find very tasty (here comes the predictable remarks from our American freinds!)

Is it my imagination or has the away support for teams visiting Ewood been very poor this season? Can't remember the last time the Duggie end was full. Wigan bring a poor crowd but PNE on Jan 11 should be decent.

Darth, describe faggots...
this Texan has no idea about this eatable, I would like to know without scoffing or sophomoric humor.

Wiki wrote: Faggots are meatballs made from minced off-cuts and offal, especially pork (traditionally pig's heart, liver, and fatty belly meat or bacon) together with herbs for flavouring and sometimes added bread crumbs

Faggots originated as a traditional cheap food consumed by ordinary country people

The first use of the term in print was in the Manchester Courier and Lancashire General Advertiser of Saturday 3 June 1843, a news report of a gluttonous man who ate twelve of them

in 2018 it was estimated that "tens of millions" of faggots were eaten every year.

Faggots are often homemade and are to be found in traditional butchers' shops and market stalls, though larger supermarkets generally stock the Mr Brain's brand of mass-produced faggot

The use of the word "faggot" has caused controversy due to its additional meaning as a pejorative term for a homosexual man
In 2004, a radio commercial for the UK supermarket chain Somerfield, in which a man rejects his wife's suggested dinner saying "I've got nothing against faggots, I just don't fancy them" was found to have breached the Advertising and Sponsorship Code and was banned by the industry regulator Ofcom

For years as a kid the name Mr Brains Faggots stopped me going anywhere near these meat balls. i didn't fancy eating anyones Brains!...from time to time it interests me watching Americans trying British candy and other treats on youtube. Perhaps surprisingly our humble Double Decker chocolate bar is a popular favourite though Monster Munch pickled onion flavour is most unpopular!

You’ve won me over; I think I would enjoy faggots immensely :D

The thing is, our meat-packing concerns here use the same parts to make hot dogs, tamales, and sausage. Nobody questions it.

Rothwell out for 4 weeks which is really bad news given the volume of games across February.

Possibly puts some added pressure on trying to get someone in by tomorrow's deadline. I know it's been reported that we aren't the side in for Marcus Maddison, but given that the deal for Kamil Jozwiak is definitely not happening perhaps we should be now.
