Deserved win, Sheffield got a lucky goal late, Tosin and Buckley did fantastic. Usual late chances conceded, great save by Walton to keep the points. Its the sort of performance that we ought to produce each week, comfortably top half quality if we could see out games.

Amazing late winner today. I am thrilled, and hopefully, Rovers can get a bounce from this. Well-deserved!

Adarabioyo finally getting a goal from a set piece, looping it over the top of the keeper. Buckley getting the lucky deflection. What a way to end the match. Haven't seen a last minute winner from Rovers in ages, finally fell our way. Hopefully this is the step in the right direction.

We will all take this result gratefully after a run of unlucky injuries and unfavourable results. Sheff Wednesday might be rueing their luck but Rovers deserved some and we got it today. Nothing certain in football of course and some interesting news today that Stoke are looking towards Preston's Alex Nield to fill their current manager vacancy. There might be a vacancy at Middlesboro soon too and one Tony Mowbray might be on their list.

The Great escape, Blackburn style. Almost the reverse of the Preston match.
Very impressed with Tosin today, even before he scored. Would love to keep this lad but I think we'll be seeing him in pale blue next season. I'd prefer him over Stones any day.
I thought Downing was poor today, surely time for Mowbray to give Chapman or Buckley a run out.

I think with that goal, Buckley is going to get more minutes off the bench.

It’s curious how people’s opinions differ sometimes. My father was annoyed he took Downing off because he thought he was our best player (I was fairly indifferent). I must admit, I’m a little ashamed to find myself greatly anticipating Bennett’s next booking though

Having seen very little of Chapman in this division, it seems he's wanted in the team based on a few league one performances before he got injured. Certainly when I watched the U23's play Derby a few weeks ago he looked frustratingly ordinary.

Perhaps my aged memory is playing tricks, but didn't Chapman put in some cracking performances off the bench for us last season?
