I would take a draw big time.

Absolutely, for a beat-up squad like Rovers, a point wouldn’t be a bad result at all.

Not to mention we don't know what's coming through or out the door.

You’re right, that might be the worst if it. We’ve already lost Cunningham, who was a nice loaner before the injury. With some of the other rumors, losing anybody from this bare-bones squad could be bad news.

There are signs Rovers are removing a few wages off the bill to bring in players. Greg Cunningham has officially gone back to Cardiff as was the option on his contract. Ben Gladwin has signed on at Milton keynes and possibly a couple of others are being encouraged to move on as they don't have a future at Rovers. Loan deals are more than likely this month as any permanent deals are said to be more expensive than those made in the summer. To be honest i dont see Rovers challenging for the play offs now and being out of the cup means it being a uneventful second half of the season. I see Rovers finishing about tenth place at best.

I think 10th is very optimistic. I fully expect somewhere between 15-18.

The club just has a journeyman, temporary feel to it. When I did my Ewood Park tour in September, and Jenny took me in the players dressing room, she said, “we don’t put players names above their locker anymore, nobody stays that long.”

That can be said of most clubs today. Guys move on after 3-4 years. But I am afraid players like Pedersen or Freidel, I don’t see us getting that caliber of player anymore.

Come on guys - it's not all gloom and doom.
With Travis, Nyambe, Arma,Graham and Lenihan we have the basis of a better than average Championship side. From what I can gather we have an excellent squad of youngsters and next season our midfield maestro will be back. I'm sure that TM will make a couple of good additions in the window so I feel reasonably optimistic about the future.

That Wayne bloke on iFollow is a fucking pillock. For all the genuine mistakes Walton has made, he’s trying to pin North End’s equaliser in him as well.

If you told me going into the day that we would be tied 1-1 at HT, I would take it and be satisfied with it. But we’re playing well enough to win. If the lads play this well in the 2nd half, with this intensity, we could very well win all three points.

are we relieved at the result, or displeased Rovers took only one point? Once again, we get an early goal, then have to hang on to keep the point. I could gripe, but I’m not going to. Not enough points lately, not to appreciate one today.

I just hope we can survive a rough run of fixtures coming up on the schedule.
