Amen, Thor!
I will also say this...
Rovers lost Cunningham & Lenihan at QPR, Rovers go on a 0-2-4 run. Tony rights the ship, we go on a run of 6-1-1, then lose Dacky, Rovers go 0-3-2, then today’s magnificence.

Tony must get some credit for his lineups, game plan, no panic, the way he stabilizes things, etc.

Unfortunately, it won't be seen that way by the naysayers.

I really don't care for them in that manner, It was a great match to watch for once. No panic, all cool. Got to see Rankin-Costello come on for once, and he provided the assist to the 5th goal. I think he definitely gets a shout at being in the 18 now with the 30 minutes he put in. I know it's against 10 men, but it shows he has the ability.

Bonus to see Davenport as well, and see what he has to offer. I think I need to see more of him before I just write him off.

Rankin Costello was a big bonus, but it still aggravates me that so few Rovers youngsters are given their chance.

Crikey 5-0. Might be a good idea to buy a lottery ticket tonight. When the ball comes back off the post and is headed in by the goal keeper you know the gods are with you today. Rovers though recently have been playing the same and creating chances but it just has not fallen in the right place to score. The Birmingham game a prime example. It all came right today for some reason.

Been a long while since we've thumped a ten man team.

When Dack got a yellow card earlier in the season Mowbray left him on - when he got a second yellow we had to play the rest of the game with ten men. Shrewdly Mowbray took Travis off yesterday to alleviate the same problem, particularly as the ref would have realized at half time that the Wednesday sending off was somewhat harsh.

StillGrowling, you’re right. TM, like all of us, can still learn things, despite his age.

We have until next Tuesday for our next game (QPR). I hope some payback is in order.

Booked players is always a balancing act. On one hand, you've got one of your first choice XI on the pitch playing well and it's silly to take them off for the sake of it when the sub may be better used elsewhere. You bring him off early and later on get someone else injured with no subs left, you're still down to 10 men. On the other hand, the player is now one mistake away from being sent off, has that on their mind going into every tackle, and the performance may suffer because of it.
