So... Can't score, can't defend, but dog shit doesn't stick around forever. It will change, it's just the how and when that are uncertain, and what's going to spark it. Hopefully, we get lucky and manage to go 2-0 up early in a game somewhere and give them a bit of confidence back.
Assuming they can get a few more points and not end up being relegated, I think it's safe to say this season's a write-off and has shown up the serious lack of depth, exprience and talent in some areas of the squad, and lack of plans b, c and d from the management. You'd hope planning for next season is well under way - but the majority of the squad as it stands is either a) not good enough to push for the Premier League or b) on loan and won't be here. I imagine Harry Pickering is probably regretting that contract he signed and wondering if he can go back to Crewe again as soon as he joins.

It's the bloody championship innit. When anyone can beat anyone, someone ends up getting beaten. We're as likely to go on a run of 8 unbeaten suddenly as not. It only seems like dog shit when you lose
