Frustrating and Cardiff as expected but still a decent point.

Shades of last season, when teams make it difficult our cutting edge still not quite ruthless enough but we had chances to win it.

Frustrating that playing the better football doesn’t always get results, but it’s worth being positive as it was still a solid performance.

Stand out players for me were Kaminski, Williams, Bell (?!) and Rothwell. Ayala was also solid and very positionally aware despite not playing for a long time.

Off days for Dolan and Brereton in particular, but that was probably more down to a resolved Cardiff back line than anything.

3 cleans sheets is really good and both Williams and Bell have been excellent which bodes well for the rest of the season. Ayala looked decent as well despite having played very little football.

Think we could have changed things up a little sooner, we started to look a lot more threatening in the final 10 minutes with Armstrong and Chapman wide taking on defenders and whipping balls in, perhaps should have moved to that shape a bit earlier.

Agreed. The big question going into the season was the defending, which has been very strong thus far. It will be interesting to see what happens when our absentees start returning. Hopefully, Lenihan’s knock is relatively minor.

I think it's helped by Kaminski, he's looked pretty assured so far. Not sure Walton inspired that much confidence.
