Line-up will be interesting depending on how our isolating internationals and new signings are incorporated.

Fun stat: Tyrhys Dolan has the best pass completion in the championship so far at 92%

Annoyingly if it was still Lamouchi in charge we could be on for another drubbing but Hughton has had the international break with the squad and expect him to come for a draw and be very difficult to break down.

No Travis, Evans, Holtby, Williams or JRC which will be interesting to see how we line up. Might be harsh on Bell to throw Douglas straight in but Trybull may need to start today.

------------Kaminski
Nyambe Lenihan Ayala Bell
------------Johnson
-----Trybull---Rothwell
Dolan--Armstrong--Brereton

I thought Evans was ready for selection this match.

Excited to see if any of our new signings start or come off the bench!

Sadly now that they have Hughton it will be a much harder game, teams typically bounce back with a new manager.

Despite that, I’ll go 1-0 Rovers, Rothwell goal in the second half

No Holtby, Williams, Bennett, Travis or Dack; Elliot and Pears not registered in time either, but Douglas and Trybull can play.

I'll be annoyed if he start Gally ahead of Brereton.

Rothwell self isolating apparently.

It says something for the strength of our squad this season that we can sign four (on paper) good players, leave them all out, have Travis and Dack injured, Holtby away on compassionate leave, Rothwell quarantined and still put out a team that I think is decent. 8-)

Our depth is very good this year at most attacking and midfield positions; glad we got a good LB cover as well. It will be extra important this year with covid forcing isolation for players throughout the year.

Downing looks like he might even re-sign which would provide even more experience; looking good for a promotion push this year.

Absolutely looking good.

Even with injuries, self-isolation, & baby birthings, a strong 11.

Anybody watching, hows our patchwork midfield holding up?

0-0, HT, I gotta say, I expected Grabban or Lolley to get an early goal against our beat up squad, and Rovers to fight back for a tie at the break. So, I’m not displeased with the result so far.

Defensively we look fine, but going forward there have been a lot sloppy passes (especially from Buckley and Evans) throughout the half.

Definitely missing the tidiness of Rothwell and Holtby
