Ugh we’ve been terrible.
And so have they. And I think that makes it even worse.

Midfield absolutely stunk today. But no Dack, Lewis, Holtby, or
JR-C, predictable result. I would guess Johnson & Buckley will be out of the 11 when Holtby is back, and Trybull. Dack shortly afterwards, hopefully.
We have 4 games coming up, in 10 days. We will get glad for depth. Better days ahead, my friends.

I think Rothwell and Holtby have been massive players for us so far. We really missed them. Wake up call, and one that we seem well equipped to address with both of them hopefully quickly becoming available and Dack and Trybull waiting on the sidelines. From what I read Bell didn’t have a great game which is a shame, so lets hope Douglas can step up.
I’m beginning to think too that Dolan may serve better as an impact sub when opposition legs are tired.

Predictably similar to the Cardiff game but with a sting in the tail. And all too familiar with similar games last season.
It's a bit of an achillies heel that when teams come to Ewood to sit deep and make life difficult we're too easy to keep at arms length.
We were missing key players granted but we've seen this happen with a fully fit squad.
Teams that get promoted win these tight games by the odd goal and that's probably Mowbray's biggest challenge is to find a way to create better chances and have a bit more of a ruthless cutting edge.
