Big test tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to this one. No, Reading have not played cherries or Watford yet, but they have a strong club. Their league-best defense and record, vs. our league-best scoring. Royals are no slouches on the offensive, either.
I like huge road wins, but we really need to win at Ewood. I like our new players, and I believe they could help earn all three points.

Is going to be an interesting test tonight against Reading and I can't work out yet whether their early season form is here to stay or the bubble is going to burst. There hasn't been a huge amount of changes to the squad that has looked set for relegation previously, but a new manager, new style of play bringing some youngsters through and they seem to be a different proposition.
They have beaten Watford and won at Cardiff but otherwise the beat the crap version of Derby we thrashed and also beaten Rotherham, Barnsley and Wycombe which isn't too much to shout about.
Find it interesting that across all these victories they've got very low possession and chances created and have just been clinical in front of goal. So they worry for me is that they're likely to sit deep and let us have the ball tonight and with players like Meite and Joao they could be very dangerous on the counter attack.
Hopefully we don't fall into those traps and can burst the bubble

Thats the quickest Rovers response to being down 1-0 I have ever seen.

If Amari’i Bell done that, Waco & the whole of Blackburn with Darwen would’ve implodedThorisgodpoo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 7:48 pmAssist should go to Barry Douglas for that Reading goal. Holy shit.

I probably would have too. That's just a lack of awareness.RoverthePennines wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 7:54 pmIf Amari’i Bell done that, Waco & the whole of Blackburn with Darwen would’ve implodedThorisgodpoo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 7:48 pmAssist should go to Barry Douglas for that Reading goal. Embarrassing defending for all 3 goals, ridiculous amount of space for the attackers

Reading look like serious promotion contenders; 4 goals n 5 shots. Clinical.
Rovers looked like a team out of sorts, playing a backup gk. Much work to be done, to make a decent push for promotion, which I still believe is possible.
