Arma, welcome back!
I love Elliott, kid is unselfish, a team player all the way.

12 goals total in the season for Arma.
Ben Brereton is absolutely new player, finding and adjusting to his role. Rothwell, Johnson, and Kaminski coming back into the side shows how much of a difference those people make. Especially Rothwell, who just drives forward with the ball. Probably made at least 10 times a player missed a tackle while he was driving forward. Kaminski just shows he knows how to clean up the back, there was one clearance in particular where I think Pears would have let that long ball from QPR drop.
Wharton had a good game too. Passing needs some working, but overall had a solid game. Held his ground with a big, meaty lad in Dykes. Had a chance on target gone begging to go in.
2 weeks off, hopefully international break isn't too rough on Elliot and Nyambe. Really need them going forward. I think Nyambe definitely claimed his spot back over JRC. Nyambe just has much more strength and spped over JRC, while JRC is the new, better Elliot Bennett, just plug and play.
We will probably have Downing and Williams fit coming back. Travis and Dack on periphery, probably waiting until December until at least Dack gets any minutes. Lovely to also to not think about Ayala.

Agree with all of that Thor.
Still a depleted squad but the difference of having Kaminski, Johnson, Rothwell and Arma through the spine was immediate from the first whistle.
Brereton excellent again and Elliot is a class above with assists like that.
Wharton was very good defensively. Passing not great but looked as though he'd been told to keep it simple if under pressure so just hit the channels which is fine by me. This season is about squad depth so good to know he can step up to this level.

I agree, Thor & mcteeth. Rovers best days this season are definitely ahead of us.

I’d much rather have a CB who can defend well but can’t pass than vice versa. Players like John Stones and David Luiz definitely show that.
Anywho, great win, delighted for Ben again and Arma just goes from strength to strength. International break comes at a good time as we really need some of these injured players back - we’ve just seen what getting Rothwell back can do so let’s hope the rest follow suit.

From Mowbray's comments and the commentators it sounds like a lot will take place over the International break. Closing down Brockhall and having a deep clean, players and staff to turn up in kit and ready to go instead of using the facilities and so on.
We've got Kaminski, Armstrong, Rothwell, Johnson and Trybull all okay and Downing should be ready to go once we're back as well. Sounds like Evans out for a while though.
Should also have Ayala, Bell and Douglas back but not sure on Williams. Nyambe should always be at RB for me but don't think you can leave JRC out of the side. He looked better at LB against Adomah then I'd except from Douglas or Bell, but did struggle against Reading and Meite. If he can cope defensively as he did yesterday I wouldn't drop him for Bell or Douglas.
Think we can expect to see Dack and Travis in December as well.

The one thing JRC did well was sliding into a tackle. He seems to know how to time those really well. However, strength is to be desired as Adomah did move him off the ball a couple times, and he isn't exactly one of the beefiest looking lads out there. JRC stays in the side, he has too much versatility, an upgrade of Bennett in a lot of ways.
Re: Quarantine in the Box Edition: Blackburn Rovers v QPR, Sat 7 Nov 2020, KO 1500
Yeah. I think his versatility, passing and crossing offers so much you need him in the side, but he doesn't go in the midfield 3 or front 3 so really has to slot in at full back.
Nyambe is too good to not be in the side.
Bell has been decent and wasn't overly impressed with Douglas, particularly defensively, so maybe we just keep JRC at left back.

And last year Downing had some cracking games at lb although I'd prefer to persevere with JRC - the lad can only improve.
