Who would have thought at the beginning of the season that we were hoping for Wharton to be back? The lad has improved immensely, certainly not in Tosin's class yet, but a darned sight better than Ayala, who looked a tad over the top as a player last night. With Douglas and Wharton back we have a fair
chance of getting into the top 6 this weekend.

Tepid is probably worse than hot garbage, but I could.be wrong.

I’m really hoping Wharton gets a fair crack of the whip alongside Lenihan. He’s done so well out on loan on two occasions now.

Ayala was awful and to provide some context he was playing an unnatural position which neither he or Lenihan are comfortable in and that's only his 5th match of 2020!

We need Wharton or Williams for Saturday as well as Douglas really. Toney is close to being on a par with Armstrong this season so can't afford any weak spots in defence.
