Quarantine Boxing Day Edition: Blackburn Rovers v Sheffield Wednesday, Sat 26 Dec 2020, KO 1500
Can we get a Boxing Day Special or are we getting some coal to add to the fire?

Great poll, and getting out an early thread, mucho appreciado!
Getting points in 3’s will make the season more interesting. Rovers probably win a must-win game. The big question is who to play in central defense, with both Wharton & Williams long-term absentees. Carter may get a try.m
We also need more consistency from Ayala & Douglas. Much was expected when we got them for the season. The time is now.
Meanwhile, a real sign of good-faith by owners is Dack signing to stay on until 2023. Also, a big thanks to Dack for his desire to stay with Rovers.

Will be a huge boost if Brereton is starting or on the bench. Really need his hold up play and ability to drive at defenders. Gallagher is not the type of player to do that at all, he's very much a dog.

Brereton and Dack on the bench

Whatever happens today, I’m just ECSTATIC to see Dacky back on the bench. Must have been a tough 12 months for him.

Why is Douglas playing ahead of Bell?
Been poor again and at fault for yet another goal.

Barry Douglas has been a liability this whole season. At this point, I will take Bell and eat my words. I really hope Mowbray takes a look at him, because that at least 2 obvious goals Douglas has caused this season.

Yes, terribly disappointing until now. Also Downing & BB, COYB!

Douglas needs dropped fast. He is a massive liability in defense and does absolutely nothing for attacking. Anytime the ball goes to his feet, everything stops. Honestly I wouldn't mind sending him back to Leeds and try to find someone else.
Dack, Brereton and Downing coming on changed everything. Armstrong was a bit wasteful with the silver platter chances he was given. Nyambe still needs to develop that final ball. Having Ayala changed the pairing too.
