Quarantine in a 2020 Edition: Huddersfield Town v Blackburn Rovers, Tue 29 Dec 2020, KO 1945
Do we see Dack start? Do we abolish the left back position? Is anyone listening to me?

I'd start Brereton but maybe bring Dack on again as a sub. Bell in for Douglas also think Holtby needs to be taken out of the side for a bit as he's been really off it since after the Preston game. Given Downing a go from the start.

Yes, I’m trying to stay positive, & focused on the remainder of the season, and not on our disappointments.Thorisgodpoo wrote: ↑Mon Dec 28, 2020 6:22 pmDo we see Dack start? Do we abolish the left back position? Is anyone listening to me?
Douglas has been disappointing. The griping & moaning about Bennett was largely unwarranted, certainly, compared to what little is said about Douglas. If Ayala stays fit, he could help us the rest of the season. Otherwise, he’s a waste of time.
I am guessing Dack comes off the bench. However, BB starts.
Elliott is still our best, most consistent, player. But like Adarabioyo last season, he’s a short-term rental. Our Academy develops talented players; but, we’ve got what hand has been dealt... at least, until January transfer window.
Captain Schindler, Stearman, Ward & Koroma all out for H’fld.
Win today... please win today, COYB!

So close! At least he dropped Douglas.

Some think Mowbray doesn’t see deficiencies, or he rewards the wrong players; It’s just not true. But those are the same people who wanted him sacked when he tied Boro 0-0, with 12 1st teamers out.
This is a solid 11. It’s true we’re short on central defense, but it’s a strong lineup. And, Travis ought to be back in January.

0-0, HT. Armstrong with the best chances, couldn’t put anything in the net. One of the few time this season Rovers don’t dominate possession. Not sure how to interpret that...
I assume Dack comes on fairly quickly in the 2nd half. I can hope.

Pretty uneventful first half. One on target chance, a couple Elliot chances gone begging, Huddersfield playing decently at the moment.
I imagine we will see Dack again at the 60 minute mark. Really missing that fast one-two attacking flow.

Hell of a save to keep Arma out. Even game, always nice to play a team trying to beat us.
Anyones to win.

Ugh man. 1-0, no surprises, really.
Dack, Gallagher & Buckley on, hopefully, with some magic up their sleeves.
No way, Ayala hurt (again)... Downing on. Almost laughable.

No defending, no surprise. A centre back unmarked for not one, but two goals.
Unfortunately, in the January signing period, we can expect no help for the defense. Mowbray will say the wad was shot on Trybull, Ayala & Douglas. Really depressing.
