Accidental can still be dangerous of course. I've only just seen it but you could easily see that being a sending off. It should have been a penalty clearly.

I don’t think we should use the Corry Evans incident as a measure of correct procedure. If I recall rightly the referee didn’t even stop the game after that. Both incidents were clearly dangerous play, it’s not a stretch to me to award a red card. Carelessness isn’t a defence in this instance.
