2021/2022 season

Post by Gibbon » Mon May 24, 2021 1:23 pm

So here we go, may as well get this kicked off after the complete anti-climax of the previous season.

Of course this one is going to be AMAZING! :hyper:

Our current squad as it stands:

Red = long term injuries

Mid: Rothwell, Dack, Travis, Buckley, Bennett, Johnson, Davenport
Forwards: Armstrong, Brereton, Dolan, Gallagher, Costello, Butterworth, McBride, Chapman.

I'm guessing you may be optimistic about the victorious nature of more than one fixture next season. Just putting that out there.

Isn't Bell going?

Cruel omission of Buckley and could probably throw Chapman in there as well.

That’s lovely. :o

I particularly like the colour, the clean lines of the collar and embossed rose at the bottom. :hyper:

Yeah it's very crisp.

First kit with Macron very impressive and have generally been really pleased since Rovers took on Recoverite as a sponsor as it's a much welcomed change from betting companies, their products are used with the squad and it's a relatively tasteful logo for the shirt.

If they've gone red and black halves for the away kit I'm getting both :mygod: :mygod: :mygod:

I can’t tell which one is nicer, they’re both so good!

Red and black away kit = promotion, right? :mygod: :rtm:

In light of us failing to secure a replacement for Armstrong, I’d expect Vale and McBride to step up and compete for a spot, not a bad thing. Plus, the arrival of Khadra and Poveda should allow is to play Gallagher and Brereton in more central roles as necessary. Not a bad window really.

Our current squad as it stands:

Green = youngsters hovering around first team
Yellow = players who are strongly rumoured to be on their way out
Red = long term injuries

GK: Kaminski, Pears, Eastham, Stergiakis
Def: Lenihan, Wharton, Ayala, Magloire, Carter, Van Hecke, Nyambe, Pickering, Pike, Edun
Mid: Rothwell, Dack, Travis, Buckley, Johnson, Davenport, Clarkson, Poveda, Khadra
Forwards: Brereton, Dolan, Gallagher, Costello, Butterworth, McBride, Vale.

Just hope the money saved on a striker can be used to get some of these running down contracts signed. Can’t afford to let these players become free transfers.
