beattie in swap for roberts
saw this in the mirror today, what you reckon?
personally, i think roberts is better than beattie for us, even if he does walk around tensed up, with his ten man walk.

Re:
You must have been hallucinating - he only scored 2 goals all season - both were penalties... :scratch:HrZC wrote:No....?![]()
I don't get it, why doesn't anyone like him.
I remember him scoring some great goals last season.
James Beattie 06/07
Just seen the daftest point made so far on this - someone on the official board has suggested the two players aren't worth the time it takes to compare them, as Beattie is no longer on the edge of the England squad, and Roberts never has been...
Anyone else confused as to why non-English players don't play for England?

You sure? I vividly remember like a 25-yard lob.
I think this is it?

October 2006, that was last season right?

Re:
So Beattie scored a goal at Goodison against Fulham last October, even though they didn't play them then... I think you'll find that goal is from March the season beforehand. Beattie scored two penalties, and that was it for last year.HrZC wrote:You sure? I vividly remember like a 25-yard lob.
