Stand corrected... Dont have to be such a bellend about it though! :-?
Chill, Winston!

Not quite sure why highlighting the relevant sentence is worthy of abuse, are you this aggressive away from your cyber-life? :-?
It's probably something to do with him living in Worthing. It's a cold, windy, dull and depressing place full of old people. Not as bad as Brighton though. That really is a shit hole.
Hmmm... Portslade huh? Dont get me started! :xxx:

Me thinks the club said Roberts was an undisclosed fee. But at the time it was rumoured to be closer to 3million than 2million.

Either that or its 2 million upfront with 1 millions worth of addons at a later date...?

The club are hardly going to admit they spent more then the immediate price are they...

Happy days, looks like its done and dusted...

Suprised to see Bellars only cost 3.75million, what a bloody deal. It looks alot better gettin Cruz at 3.8million than it did at 4.5million!! Lets hope he's a success, which I'm sure he will be.

Plus think we've found yet another headline there...''Chico Time''

We've tried all these ways to increase gates at Rovers, all we needed to do was sign Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp...

He looked a bit bewildered at the end of the game - I hope it was down to taking in the fact he'd just joined us, and not that he didn't understand what had happened on the pitch... :-D

Pleased we've signed him because we've beaten what are perceived to be 'bigger' clubs for his signature. It's only a month since certain papers were telling us Mark Hughes would see moving to Man City as a step forward. Santa Cruz has turned them down, as well sunny Portugal and Spain. I think that shows that we're a bigger pull within the game than fans an the outside realise. As for the player himself, I said before I think he's got talent and has just had a bad move to a 'big' club in Germany. I believe our coaching staff will sort him out, and he can make a success of himself here. His record at Bayern doesn't mean anything now, as far as I'm concerned. I hope hje's going to be the missing piece in the jigsaw, as Hughes said, we don't capitalise on our crosses enough, and I think Santa Cruz can be the new, more refined Shefki Kuqi, and turn those half chances into goals.

thats a lot more hopeful than i thought anyone would be able to muster... to be honest he cost half of what a certain italian no hoper did so we can't go too far wrong.

3.5 million in the current market is a slight gamble, but we could have done a lot worse... hughes looks to be doing the smart thing in consolidating the majority of his squad and fitting new players around that.
