Total goals - 14

Yes, but: -
  1. None of them are strikers
  2. None of them were playing up front
  3. The strikers we do have apart from the two we played didn't get regular games
It's a bit like complaining the fire control centre don't put out many fires.

Even if we sell Rhodes on, it's going to be for a big amount and that salary is off the books helping that dastardly FFP.

Those who remember Steve Agnew (Rhodes Uncle) from his playing days at Rovers will remember a decent players but fell out with i think then Rovers manager Don Mackay. Does he have issues with Rovers? Its no coincidence when at Hull Agnew was involved when they wanted Rhodes. Now he's at Boro he's doing the same thing. Just what is he telling Rhodes? And if he is saying anything is that not an illegal approach? If he is telling him to push for a move to Boro then that is not in Rhodes interests. They are a decent side but are not guaranteed a top two finish next season and the play offs are a lottery. If Rhodes is to leave Rovers then he should go to the premiership. You don't hear Gestede wanting to go to another championship club.

If we sell Rhodes for the sums banded about, and given Cairney already going, the general drop in wages (along with still having PL parachute money) and 15/16 FFP rule relaxation, I would be shocked if we didn't comply with FFP this season. I reckon we might even make a profit.

The ridiculous part is the club will be able to categorically demonstrate this, but I understand the embargo won't be lifted until January as it's all retrospective. So you have less incentive to sell your expensive players in order to comply with the rules, as you can't suitably replace them.

It's a farce.

I have potentially unwelcome news in regards to Maic Sema, one of the trial oats playing tonight. Despite having played for one of Swedens grander teams, Hammarby, neither my girlfriend's football mad father or brother have heard of him.

Sarpong looks decent, would think he'd make a good addition - even if we sign Kim, but especially if we fail to do so.

In other news. Rovers won't be pressured into selling Rhodes or Gestede.

Alittle bit of good news if venkys are digging their heels in. But if he's unhappy will he be any good.

I'm just glad it appears Venky's are becoming shrewder on business decisions. They realize how much he is worth to the club on it and add on its selling to another Championship club, they hike the price tag up and rightfully so.

He looks really good. Also video is multiple clips from games where he looks decent.

I'd be happy to see Gestede and Rhodes both go but only if we get 20 million between them minimum....good bit of business I think.....although I'd be happy to see them both stay of course....

I'd be looking for somewhere closer to £25m minimum, what with their value to the club under FFP.

Nathan unfulfilled potential Delfounso looked decent in the short time he had on the pitch, certainly better back up than what we've had!

Who was the little black guy on the left wing? In one of the last two friendlies i think he played and he looked like a bag of tricks and seriously up for the game! I think it might be that Sarpong or something

I don't think Sarpong played. Maybe you're thinking of Nyambe

Sarpong and Sema played in the Tranmere game. Sarpong scored in the 76th minute whilst Sema headed against the bar.
