Re: Bradley Orr - Ipswich on loan?

Make of him what you will. At least he wants to play for us. He's not exactly the best in the world or maybe the best in Blackburn but if he was told he had no future with us then he has done nothing wrong. If he can help us in our current task and if he's not taking the piss by coming out with a statement like that then he should be given a chance.Would you rather have Hoilett and Samba back? Some would but that's football these days full of mercenaries.

I'd have Samba back in a heartbeat. Best defender we've had since Colin Hendry. Apparently Anzi's owner thinks QPR are crazy for coughing up around 36 million in total for him.

I wouldn't have Holiett back. He has The Rovers curse now :paranoid:

Colin Hendry? our best defender was Henning Berg or even Ryan Nelsen. Both Hendry and Samba had Berg and Nelsen along side them who got on with the job of defending. Hendry and Samba were similar in that they popped up with the odd goal or two which strangely in some peoples opinion gave them the status of good defender.

Orr is a solid enough rb for the championship. BUT wages too high , prefer Kane - Henley will get stronger. So really need his wages off the bill. Also his stupid comments wont be forgotten.

Yeah, I've no idea what he thought I was saying there... But an even better example was the guy who ranted after him that Orr's comments about the players being at fault for relegation were "malicious and premeditated". :whoosh: I've been wondering for a year what he said to upset so many people. Now someone's pointed it out, I'm none the wiser...

It is time for him to move on now, though.

Yeah I agree. Even reading the Orr attributed comments they just posted to justify the hate, I can't really see anything there except some ill timed comments from a player supporting the manager who signed him.

In my opinion Kean was proved out of his depth and should have gone long before that point, but the shit he had to put up with for a sustained period from a section of the fans was disgraceful. And Orr didn't even say anything that pointedly.

Orr was a poor signing for the PL but he could do a job in the Championship and really impressed me in the win over Arsenal when after a shaky start went on the have an absolute cracker!

That being said; i agree it is time for Orr to go as Kane and Henley are much better options there and have no baggage with the fans

We don't need him, we have Kane and Henley, with Lowe and also seemingly Marrow who can fill in there.

Yep, definitely time for him to move on. Shame it didn't work out better.

Saw that earlier on twitter with loads of people making a huge fuss about it...

I mean what does it even mean? Without context it could be ANYTHING, and yet a load of idiots treat it like he's spat on the shirt.

Bizarre.
