Very very very happy. Had a really good record for us last season. Hopefully building a better balanced team. One that can keep clean sheets but score goals as well.

Agreed.

This is all pretty encouraging news. There may have been good reasons not to want Coyle at Rovers, but I appreciate what he's trying to do so far. Stokes & Graham up front is getting us where he need to be to score more in the Championship. I hope Coyle keeps it up!

Pleased to see he saw sense and stayed. Was happy with his performances last season, goals and chasing back. Fingers crossed as we re-build on a budget, hmmm sounds familiar today :yeahright:

Haha I believe that is how they've been advertising for players of late

Graham looks set to be triggering and agreeing an additional year on his current contract which would keep him at the club for next season.

Can't really begrudge him getting an additional year. His age doesn't seem to be limiting his impact on the pitch, he operates in a specific role in our attack so no reason why he won't keep performing at this level through to him being 35. I'd liken him a little bit to Glenn Murray at Brighton who is still one of their most important players at 36.

No reason he couldn't do a job next season whatever happens.. although players who get a late 30s purple patch seems more about luck than judgement.

Contract not renewed so Graham leaves the club.

Brilliant player for the club and although it's probably the right time to let him go still quite sad. Really is everything you want to see in any Rovers player. Scored 57 goals in 191 appearances and a very important part in us getting promoted back from League 1.

Leaves some big shoes to fill by Brereton or Gallagher.

I like Danny Graham, he's probably the sort of player we need at the moment.

This really can only be seen as a very good signing.

I'm not bothered about Sunderland getting promoted, but if he plays he'll score goals. He's been a brilliant player for our club and I wish him the best of luck.

I'd expect him to have a much better spell there than last time particularly now in League 1. Interesting to see if he's been brought in the play with Will Grigg or if they're expecting him to leave.
