Welcome back Harry. I do hope we will see him play in Rovers colours this season rather than loaning him out.

Would be nice to see him rotated with Conway in the 18. Obviously doesn't warrant him right in the mix, but after a month of training in the U-23 side, he should be up to speed IMO.

Can't wait to see what he has to offer in the Championship.

We needed a winger as it’s a position we don’t have a lot of natural options aside from Conway. He’s been wanting to come here and fits in well with the squad so always seemed likely he’d be back.

Everything I have been reading points to him just needing to get fit so I imagine it will be for the U23s, but pleased to see him back as he looked good for us last season.

It really is a breath of fresh air with TM at the helm, decent signings, no stupid agent fees above the cost of the player. I know that was more from up top, singh? rather than our managers, but everything he says, the signings and the moral of the team are great and long may it continue.

He has a huge questionmark over his ability to stay fit, but he's certainly an exiting young player who we already know enjoys playing here. Worth the risk.

totally. Don't believe we will have paid much as he only had 6 months left on his contract too

I read that the fee was only 200k, albeit with hearty sign on fees. At that price hes basically a free. Good bit of business.

Tony Mowbray is considering sending Harry Chapman out on loan in January. We don't see the Harry Chapman who turns up for training does a few dribbles and goes home. According to TM he wanted to see a better approach to his game before he could be considered for the first team. This could be one of TM's big mistakes like not improving the defence when it was clear to everyone Rovers are short of quality defenders. I get what he is saying but i have seen many players over the years at different clubs who didn't fit in with the managers requirements. The last one at Rovers was David Dunn and Greame Souness. Souness was wrong to sell him to Birmingham. Harry Chapman has done well in the u23s and should be on the subs bench in the first team.He has earned that. Mowbray has been wrong about Chapman before choosing to use him as an impact sub when many wanted to see him start games. When eventually he did start him he did well before unfortunately getting a season ending injury. It will be a big mistake to loan him out especially with Rovers struggling. It made news in Middlesboro that Chapman might be loaned out by Rovers. What does that tell you?

Mowbray wanted to loan out Travis until in juries forced a change of mind. I would have thought the ideal player to loan out would have been Richie Smallwood - now wrong with the lad other than having 3/4 players in front of him in the pecking order.

I understand that Rovers have one of the biggest squads in the Championship -time to save a few bob one would have thought.
