I'm no longer bothered, I've just made a killing at the 2111 Grand National. Now all I need is for these Eurasian Dollars to become legal tender...

I know he failed to impress at Newcastle but what about signing Oguchi Onyewu. 6'4'' back and still young. He's looking for a new team right now and wants to play in England. He showed poor form at Newcastleso his confidence is low but that would make me think his asking price is probably low. He's got potential, I think. Would be a shrewd pick-up at the moment and if he gets his act together they could probably get a good transfer fee for him.

Sky said this morning that Newcastle are after signing Ludovic Giuly for just £1.5m. I'll be gutted if something comes of it...

Its a bargain price - I guess his age (31) and contract (ends next year) have a lot to do with it.

It now depends on the takeover rumours. If it goes through soon we could try to sign players like Diego from Bremen, We do also need a new keeper soon to replace Friedel 'cos I'm not sure how good Jason Brown is.

Though I know how good Friedel is, and he's not showing any signs of slowing.

possibly david nugent but if the takeover takes place then we could be really competetive in the transfer market, williams said he'd back hughes so possibly players in a better bracket than nugent. we'll have to wait n see.

bellamy coming back would be a step in the right direction, him and mccarthy next season would be one the best strike forces in the league. i feel a new right back could be a possibility but i am sure emerton will improve the defensive side to his game, maybes ryan taylor from wigan hes a young promising player but got a severe injury last year but came back well at the end of the season. we definatly dont need parnaby, mendy or kamara none of which would improve the squad, dont forget we've got ooijer, reid and savage next season.

Nugent will probably go for £8million. I can't see us pending much more than that on a striker with or without a takeover.
