I'm sure we're all used to a pint of bitter on Ferguson whenever he fucks things up. I am genuinely surprised that he stooped so low as to resort to racist comments, however. Rafael/Fabio deserved both yellow cards, the first was for a petulant kick at someone he felt had fouled him, the second for a cynical and pointless shirt tug of a player who was going to get away from him. A decent ref would have sent him off no matter what the Bayern players did.

I said last week that the creme of English football weren't as good this year, I think that can be seen from both their performance in Europe and some of their domestic displays. I'm actually looking forward to the semi-finals, there's no reason for the TV commentators to assume everyone watching will support the side they want to win. 8)

Who can come up with the best puns using the names Robben and Ribery?

Fegie accuses Robben Germans after away-goal Ribery.

Bonus points for anyone who can make a pun out of Schweinsteiger.... :D

Nemadja Vidic has been offered the role as Batman in an upcoming Hollywood blockbuster. Vidic got the role after the director in the crowd saw Vidic put his hands on his hips and ask "where's Robben?"

Wouldn't say I've exactly been hiding, just been a bit quiet lately. Saw that picture and had to share it with you all.

I remember when Monaco beat Deportivo 8-3. 1 of best games ever.
Do you remember Jermain Defoe scored five goals as Tottenham Hotspur thrashed Wigan Athletic 9-1 at White Hart Lane. That's brilliant!! I was really impressive.

It would have been even more impressive if it had been in the Champions League

Barcelona are currently struggling to score against 10 man Inter. 0-0, 1-3 Agg
