Re: Films that are ace
Been reading through this thread and it seems it's largely for newly released films at the cinema (not TV movies) but going to risk it by saying the last two films I watched were The Omen (last night) and An American Werewolf in London (a day or two before Halloween)
The Omen was the original from the 1970s and haven't seen the recent remakes but they can't be as good as the first. Werewolf needs no introduction. Not really scary, but a bit gory in places and not something to watch on a full stomach.

Going back to Spectre, whilst it didn't put me to sleep like Skyfall did, did nobody else find the entire film completely obvious? I mean you knew who one bad guy was within the first five seconds of seeing him before he even spoke and then every action scene you could already tell what was going to happen or where they would escape from! It was just poor in my eyes.

Um, yeah? It goes with the territory of a Bond film, it's not meant to be a mysterious whodunnit affair...

I've never really watched them all to be honest, i think i've seen three or four Bond films
I didn't realise they were supposed to be THAT obvious
Would love it if they killed a Bond off in one of the movies.

It's a bit counter-productive for a series to kill off the character it's entirely based around. Unless you're going to shift towards making them zombie films, I guess?

I thought James Bond 007 was just a role and if the agent died somebody else became 007 in the same vein as what just happened to M?

I thought it was the same sort of thing. Like that's why there has been so many different James Bond's over the years! It sounds better to me that it's just a role and that they could actually kill him off. Probably explains why i find Bond movies so boring

There's been different Bonds over the years because, well, consider what it would be like if Sean Connery was still in the lead role now!
