Can you understand that you have to have good laps to be able to have a good race.

So you NEED the good LAPS to get a good RACE.

Like making a cake.... you need the ingredients before you can make it, they are the most important thing because thats what they are made from.

A race is made from laps..... so a good race must be filled with good laps

Well ive drove the Nurburgring and Monaco f1 track, so there!

and if we want a argument at the Nurburgring drivers dont think aboput the lap coming up they think about the next corner coming up and concertrate on getting round taht no the overall lap. :disagree:

so once again nathan you are wrong!!

noticing a recurring theme here

Yeah, but the most important thing is too get a good CAKE out at the end.
Once you've got the CAKE, it doesn't matter how good the INGREDIENTS were.
What matters is that they fit together to make the end product.

I can't understand how someone can get the details so right and yet be so wrong. I mean, I've come across a lot of wallies on internet forums, but even Blackbat would have admitted he was wrong on this one by now...

Ah, but even if one or two of the ingredients are slightly wrong, you can still get a very good cake. ;)

Look, this argument is never going to end and is getting a bit silly now as Eth said above. And that's not me calling you silly, or anyone else for that matter. I can understand where you're coming from and respect your point of view and your willingness to argue your corner whether i see it as right or wrong, and to be honest i think you can see where i'm coming from too. But no-one here's going to agree on anything.

It's got nothing to do with who has the most racing expereince and who's driven what circuit at what speed.
Let's just accept that as human beings we have different views on things.

I'm not going to do anything selfish or stupid like start insulting anyone, or carry on arguing for another week, or lock the thread, but I hope we can just draw a line under this now and agree to disagree!

(That's Willy. Waving.)

Dan, let them argue. Is that not the point of the forum? ;) I actually skip all the boring shit and look at the other stuff just so I can giggle at Blackbat's inability to admit he's wrong. Even though in this case, he's quite clearly right. :-?

Not that I care, I fucking hate F1. Oh, I already said that, didn't I?

If we go way back to the 1st few pages wou can see that it all started when Blackbat said something like "F1 was better in the 50's & 60's"

When everyone knows the 80's and 90's were by far the best
