Ahhh if there’s 2 games I want to win this season, it’s Preston, home and away. Glad 50% of my dreams have come true

Hoping Elliot’s injury is just a knock - would still prefer him or Dolan over Gallagher on the wing.
I’m new to the “rivalry”, but I agree with you.

I trust Tony on where he puts people, but Gallagher does not seem to be a winger. I would guess he started there in the past, due to other’s absence.

Solid match to win. Can't believe anyone would take down Gallagher, full well knowing he was going to sky that chance.

Midfield kind of looked anonymous to me. I think that's a complement more than anything else. Other than the Joe Rothwell assist to Brereton, it was pretty casual.

I thought the midfield 3 were excellent last night, everyone was really across the team. Probably Trybull's best performance to date and they've all been pretty good. Holtby ran the game and when Rothwell doesn't play we're just not the same attacking force as he is such a key link between midfield and attack. Brereton's goal much like the opener at Derby is made by Rothwell driving from midfield and ghosting past 3/4 players to assist, we have nobody else like him in the squad that can do that.

Wharton was really good and over the last 2 games Douglas is showing some really quality on the ball and with his decision making, also provides a big threat in attack.

Kaminski is really great as well, basically played as a 3rd centre back in the second half

Brereton brilliant again, a bit like Rothwell currently when he doesn't play we're just not the same attacking force.
