Highly rated Liverpool central midfielder Leighton Clarkson joins on loan for the season.
He’s been hovering around the fringes of a very good Liverpool squad, so must have something about him.
With Bradley Johnson still out through injury and having shed Trybull, Evans and Holtby at the end of last season, we definitely need bodies in that position. Garrett and Davenport can compete with him for that spot.
And he’s a Rovers fan!

One of the most genuine entrance interviews I think I’ve ever seen. No ‘Massive club’ but I can forgive that this once.

Agreed, that’s a very mature and honest interview, not just reading off the normal script.
We need a bit of creativity in midfield so I’m feeling positive about this signing!

Hopefully a good signing for us, sounds like he had a decent debut v WBA. It's always nice to see a local lad play for the team (even if his isn't technically ours).
