Do you think anyone would even be mentioning us in the media if everyone else had failed to win their first 3? The attention being paid feels like a massive overreaction.

Yeah it is a little odd, obviously I'm thrilled we've won all 3 (although I expected us to beat QPR, always felt we've owed Swansea a beating at their place but did not think we'd beat WBA) but if it wasn't at the start of the season winning 3 on the spin isn't that big a deal.

I would say it could be down to JDT being relatively well known and quite charismatic in interviews and us having BBD who has scored and assisted as otherwise I always think the general media don't know a huge amount about our team. For example how good people like Travis and Buckley are, or how amazing Brittain has been since arriving from Barnsley. Hedges being a bit a of revelation and Gally looking really sharp.

I think the nicest thing is that we've got a new manager some turnover of playing staff but the direction of travel so far has been really positive, building on what TM has done which is pretty much what GB and JDT said they're trying to do. I think that's what is most pleasing, there is a plan a model around how we play, develop the academy and recruit and the mood around the club is good. And it's that type of planning and patience that saw clubs like Swansea, Brighton and Brentford eventually get promoted to the PL which is what the aim is.

I half expected this season to be transitional and it may well still be of course but we've made a good start so let's just trying and keep that going. If BBD stays and we get in a defender or two then the squad will be in a pretty good place as well.

Yep, it's a good time to be a supporter - I'm focussing on enjoying it while the sun shines.
