Get the feeling there will be a lot of interest in him this summer with clubs trying to nab him early for cheap.

Long term contract though, so hopefully he won't be too cheap. If they can convince him that he's much better off becoming a first team regular for Rovers than jumping to the PL to sit on the bench, we should be OK. I'd imagine it would take a lot to leave your boyhood dream of playing for your hometown club alongside your brother.

Yeah you'd hope so.

Also got faith in what JDT is trying to do with the team and feel as though Broughton will back that in the summer. We know we need a striker and possibly a couple of others but could be in really good shape for next season.

“I think it’s important to make the right decisions regarding what you want," Tomasson told LancsLive. "You’re clever, like me, so we know exactly what we need. I think if you look at the development and the way we’re playing, the stats from the beginning of the season compared to now, we’re top four in the league. The only things we’re not in the top four for is goals.”

That sounds pretty positive. We could do with another experienced head at the back, and someone who can hit the ground running up front as a bare minimum, but other than that it's a decent squad.

Yeah sensible and postive.

I mean 2 very obvious candidates for the striker would be Jerry Yates with Blackpool slipping down into League 1. And with Peterborough somehow messing up their second leg last night I still would be adverse to looking at Jonson Clarke-Harris.
