Another very pleasing result. Always good fun winning away. Rovers and Burnley at the top of the league. Interesting season to date and lots of positives all round.

It's a strange feeling season... I mean there is no way this can last. We all know we'll finish 7th. This hanging around higher is all a bit odd. Some kind of parallel universe thing going on.

We’re not winning convincingly, but we are winning. If we carry on improving on this trajectory then we could be up there at the end of the season, but I’m taking nothing for granted.

We were in a similar position 12 months ago, and then New Year came along...

Well the Mowbray slump tended to be playing really well across January then being utterly hideous in February before eventually re-finding some form come April when it was too late.
As Gibbon says we keep winning without being entirely convincing each time, although I thought we were against Hull but perhaps less so against Birmingham.
I guess we need to see how the season pans out but I think defensively we seem to hold a better shape under JDT, more tactical flexibility in-game and better able to protect a lead.
If we're still in the top 2 come the World Cup it will be interesting given a large majority of the squad will have break and it'll give JDT more time to work in things, although our fixture list in December is pretty bruising!

A rest is always a bad thing when you're in form, mind.
